This includes personal information including first name and surname, email address, postal and street address, telephone numbers, date of birth, Medicare card information, Department of Veterans Affairs card information, Aged Care Client Record information, aged care and/or respite accommodation subsidy eligibility information, and billing information (including credit card number, expiry, cardholder information and other credit card certification information). You may also provide information about your respite accommodation preferences – including but not limited to preferred date of entry and exit, preferred provider, preferred location and preferred service.
Automatic Information: We automatically collect information about your computer or device when you access this website. We may collect and store information regarding your IP address, your location, your browser software, the referring website and your browsing history on our website. We may collect information in regard to you online activity, including any respite accommodation that is booked, and which respite providers you have viewed. The purpose for which we collect this personal information is to provide you with the best service experience possible on the Site. Some provision of personal information is optional. However, if you do not provide us with certain types of personal information, you may be unable to enjoy the full functionality of the Site.
Information from Third Parties: We may collect information about you and any other person to which you provide us information about from third parties, including business partners, clients, respite accommodation providers, advertisers, and affiliated entities.
Purpose of collection
To improve the ease with which you can communicate and take advantage of the services offered by this Site, we will make use of email messages. From time to time we may send email messages to you to remind you about respite booking requests you have made, have started to make, have not completed, or that may be of interest to you. All email messages will provide you with the opportunity to stop receiving email messages of that type.
In addition, we also collect cookies from your computer, which enables us to tell when you use the Site and also to help customise your website experience.
We customarily disclose personal information only to our service providers who assist us in operating the Site, including: respite accommodation providers; Aged Care Reviews for the purposes of seeking review or rating information; Facebook for linked registrations and our advertisers for statistical purposes. Some personal information may also be publicly accessible through your use of the Site and Services. For example, the link to your User profile will be available with every User Generated Content post. If you do not wish for certain personal information to be viewable on your User profile, you may change your settings in your account. We will only disclose personal information to an unrelated third party with your consent.
